UPM Weather Station Sensor Not Working? Replacement Guide

If your UPM weather station is no longer receiving outdoor temperature or humidity readings, the sensor is often the issue.

In many cases, the outdoor sensor fails before the base unit, making replacement the most practical solution.

Common Problems with UPM Weather Station Sensors

  • No signal between sensor and base station
  • Temperature or humidity not updating
  • Intermittent readings
  • Sensor display completely blank

These issues are common with older UPM models, especially after extended outdoor exposure.


Before Replacing the Sensor

  • Replace batteries in both the sensor and base station
  • Reset the system and re-sync the sensor
  • Ensure the sensor is within range
  • Check for water damage or corrosion

If the issue persists, the sensor is likely at end-of-life.


Replacement Options

Many UPM weather station models are now discontinued. Finding compatible replacements can be difficult.
